Haughtily in dark-flowing robe you stride, Through evil to good and from white to black. 'Tis a lonely path you are doomed to take, For a lost Love so deeply you long hide. But only a pawn driven by the tide You are, though a crucial one, for the sake Of lofty justice, your poor soul to make Stained by performing that dire homicide. So wonder I what ever-dancing fire, Ardent and fierce, is under your cold face, And what a restrained heart you own to place Such quenchless passion of love, and of ire?
