The snow is legal, though freezing cold
The falling leaves are legal; they don’t have to
Stop for your passing
The pouring rain is legal; it doesn’t wait for your umbrella

Looking is legal; I can stare at you for hours and you can’t put me in jail
Imagination is legal; I often picture you naked in my mind
Being extremely fat or uttely skinny is legal, just unhealthy
Gossiping is legal, as long as you don’t say it out loud

Kissing is legal, for the underaged couples in front of me
Legalness never crossed their mind

Stealing hearts is legal, and you can steal as many as you can
So let’s be more skilled, and appreciate each other’s
Sweet fanstastic crimes.
