I tell the stories according to your honor
That is about the intoxicating love
Up to now I am still enchanted
By the oppression
Of human nature
II
Do not seek for knowledge
Because I am apostate
I apostatized
Afterwards, my faith is in annihilation
Do not seek for knowledge
Of who killed me
(I am fixed to live
With fatwa
And discourses)
Do not seek for knowledge
Of abstruse discourses
(I provide the drink
To those who are thirsty
I provide the food
To those who are hungry)

Witnessed
I take off the robe of Sufi
I am hanged on the lust
Povertizing those who are oppressed
Miserizing those who are slashed
I am
Not on the side of the King
And knowledge

aku berkabar pada tuan
bahwa cinta memabukkan
Sehingga aku terpesona
pada penindasan
kemanusiaan

jangan mencari tahu
sebab kemurtadanku
(aku murtad
setelah imanku dibunuh)
jangan mencari tahu
siapa pembunuhku
(aku tetap hidup
bersama fatwa
dan kata-kata)
jangan mencari tahu
rahasia kata-kata
(aku memberi minum
orang yang haus
aku memberi makan
orang yang lapar)

Saksikan
aku melepas jubah sufi
kugantung bersama syahwat
kemiskinan orang yang tertekan
kesengsaraan orang yang terlibas
aku
tidak berpihak pada sultan
dan tuhan
