The faint sound of trains
Plugs me in with the society
渡過荒川
隱約的列車聲
將我與社會接通

パレスチナ
わがまほろばの崩れゆく
空のみ高し
ジェニンの町よ
Palestine,
Our wonderful homeland is crumbling out!
The sky is so high above
The town of Jenin!
巴勒斯坦呀
吾國美麗河山正在崩塌
天空高懸在
杰寧的市街呀
---
祖国発つ
朝にかけたる赤電話
おだやかな父の声きこえる
Dialed from my homeland
I picked up the red pay phone that morning
Heard Father’s gentle voice
從祖國打來
一早接起紅色的公共電話
聽到父親溫柔的聲音
---
「打倒せよ」と
叫びし日々は
この国の
勢いありて
希望ありし頃
“Down with XX”
In the days yelled like that
This country
Still got momentum
Still got hope
「打倒XX」
如此高喊的日子
這個國家
就還有勁頭
還有希望

御茶ノ水駅
降り立てば
水仙のかすかに匂う
二月のバリケード
If you get off
At Ochanomizu Station
You’ll find the dim odor of Narcissus smells like
Barricade of February
在御茶水站
下車的話
水仙幽微的香味
渾似二月街壘
---
現身は空蝉のごと
独房で世界の流れ
をじっと聞き入る
This body is like a cicada shell
Flowing beyond this single jail is the world
That I hearken to patiently
此身如空蟬
獨牢外世界流轉
我耐心傾聽
---
戦乱の廃墟に立てば
風ばかり夕暮れくぐる
ジャスミンの匂い
If you stand among the ruins of war
In the twilight with nothing but wind, there will sneak in
An odor of jasmine
若站在戰亂的廢墟
唯有風聲的黃昏會潛來一股
