本來是CX的銀卡 但很多低價票都不算會員累積
所以把腦筋動到連低價票也可積點的Executive Club
是有先去搜尋相關經驗 但在官網找不到status match的選項
就直接寫信給他們官網客服 直接說要status match
並說明如果可以提供高階會員 將會馬上買一張去歐洲機票
花最多時間就是在把過去12個月飛的30幾次都列出來 冏"
等了一天收到一封莫名的回信

I am afraid you cannot combine or transfer your miles that you hold in your
Cathay Pacific accounts to Executive Club account.

有點懷疑是對方不太懂英文還是... 我明明寫的也很簡單啊
而且我在開頭第一行就寫Status match 沒道理看不懂吧-.-
馬上又回信過去 說明並強調我是要status match 不是要轉移
四天後才又收到回信
I am sorry for the earlier response.
It is not our policy to match the status of another frequent flyer programme
when you join our programme. Tier status is a way of recognising and
rewarding our most loyal and frequent travellers. The only way to get to Gold
Tier is to join the Executive Club as a Blue member and collect enough Tier
Points to move up through the levels.
I hope I have managed to explain the background and I hope you join our
frequent flyer programme soon.

看來British Airways是不提供status match
但不知道是否因為CX銀卡不夠力還是其他
