可以這麼說吧，而且是不分區域，不分文化，
這篇wiki內容指出基本上五大洲都有薩滿。
ps. 不知道為甚麼我覺得F/Z的題材沒有很有趣，看一集就不想追了。

spirit world 應該是翻成靈界吧，或許翻做精神世界也可以
