[問題] 關於申請WES成績認證的必要性(已爬文)

目前我申請的學校中，

有三家提到關於WES成績單申請，

但是就我逐句推敲學校網站上的語氣跟字句，

我個人認為申請WES成績單似乎只是”strongly recommend”而不是”require”，

但因為我是第一次申請，

有點怕怕的，所以想請版上的大大幫我看看是否有申請WES成績單的必要性?

*他說學制若與美國不同須申請WES，但台灣與美國一樣都是4年，

所以我覺得應該不用吧??!!(好像可以只交成績單中英文正本)

Students who have studied outside the U.S. in an educational structure
different from the U.S. (three-year degrees, for example) are asked to submit
a World Education Services (WES) evaluation to expedite their application
processing.

*似乎與前者狀況相同，都是學制不同才需申請的樣子??!!

All foreign post-secondary (university level) transcripts should be converted
into U.S. educational equivalencies. Those records that are not converted
into U.S. equivalencies must be evaluated by an external evaluation
agency.ex:WES

*這家的敘述我比較疑惑，因為他說想要transfer academic credits 才需申請WES，

但是如果只是碩士班申請的成績單寄送，應該不用transfer academic credits吧??!!

All applicants with international transcripts are required to submit an
original transcript from each institution attended along with a certified
English language translation. Applicants who would like to transfer academic

credits earned at non-U.S. institutions are also required to have their

WES成績單申請一次價格不斐，而且耗時，

所以能夠不用申請我也想要盡量避開，

不知道版上有經驗的大大能否為我指點迷津一下，感恩~

推 windxx:Purdue CS 有寫說把 WES GPA計算機的結果寄到他們email信箱
→ windxx:，所以我就只有做這個，沒有另外去買完整的認證服務。
→ windxx:WES GPA 計算機按一次記得好像是5美金。（還是很貴XD）
→ ilovepony:windxx大申請的學校講的好明確(按計算機..)，我都不確定

推 kiro327:根據我的經驗 我覺得第1,3間不用 第2間只要你的學校成績
