[問題] Letter service recommendations

不好意思

最近在申請的一間學校

有關推薦信的有兩部分

其中一部分問是否要使用 Letter service recommendations

請問這個問的意思是指紙本的推薦信嗎?

我的解讀是這樣，但是又不敢確定

比較清楚的內容如下

Will you be submitting recommendations through a third-party letter service
(i.e. Interfolio or a university career services office)? Use this option
ONLY if using a third-party letter service. If you select this option, it is
your responsibility to ensure that your recommendations are delivered to Duke
Graduate School.

但是關鍵字卻看不懂，如 third-party letter service and interfolio

偏偏字典又查不到
