這是在UCSB的Office of International Students and Schalors (OISS) 每年暑期
的課程,主要針對Academical communication skills,
對有意在美國留學的學生們應該有很大的幫助,課程師資
都是UCSB語言所的教授親自規劃跟上課,非常歡迎來自
台灣的學生參予這個為期一個月的workshop. 年滿17歲皆可.

ENGLISH ORAL PROFICIENCY AND AMERICAN CULTURE WORKSHOP
August 6 - 31, 2012

Are your spoken English skills not what you want them to be?
Do you have to present your work in English in public and have
difficulties being understood by others? Spend August in
Santa Barbara working on your English! Our one-month intensive
workshop will help you develop English oral proficiency skills
and acquaint you with American culture and society. The workshop
is specifically designed for international students and scholars
who have not grown up in an English-speaking environment. It will
provide participants with personalized attention in small class
settings. Language instruction is designed to create advanced fluency,
improve pronunciation, expand academic vocabulary, as well as
improve listening and question/response skills. Students will
also be introduced to academic institutions, cultural discourses,
and social life in the US. You will also have a chance to meet new
friends, enjoy weekend activities included in the program such as
whale watching, a day at Universal Studios, and a
two night trip to San Francisco. Apply Now!
