[問題] UW-Madison的申請狀態

剛剛去check了一下UW-Madison的申請狀態 (Ph.D)

它寫道:

"Your program has recommended admission without financial support.
The Graduate School is requesting additional information as listed below.
Please refer back to this page to check your status."

下面又說:

Your admission to the Graduate School is contingent upon your providing us
with the document(s) listed below. Important: Although a department may have
notified you of your recommended admission to UW-Madison, you are not
admitted until the Graduate School has finalized your admission.


1) For your use in calculating the required funding, the anticipated duration
of your program is 4.0 year(s).

2) A Financial Statement must be completed and returned with the appropriate
supporting document(s).



這不算是正式email，這只是它在申請網頁上註明的application status
但看到這樣的狀態其實有點難過
因為沒有拿到funding
它附上的pdf檔中，就列出了幾項可以利用的source of funding

而我想問的問題是:

(1)儘管它說它會根據我提供的資料來決定是否錄取
   所以意思是說不管怎樣我都無法拿到學校funding的意思囉?
   還是只有第一年無法拿到?
   雖然還有其他獎學金或許也可以申請
   但是四年要花我自己的錢 我根本負擔不起...

(2)還有一點我也搞不太懂
   pdf檔中有寫到
   "Important Requirements Regarding Official Financial Documentation"
   其中有一項是 Attach a copy of I-20 from the last U.S. institution attended

   我還沒拿到I-20，是要怎麼附上去?


有板友可以幫我解惑一下嗎? 感謝!!
