[問題] Wait List 的問題

請問各位, 小弟目前拿到一間正取, 一間備取(備取的學校比較好)

眼看415大限即將來到, 也寄信給備取的學校詢問

學校的回答是

I hope this email finds you well, I'm sure this time of year is very
hectic.

I am writing in regards to your wait-list status at xxxxxxx. As is the
policy with most Universities, we cannot extend offers to wait-list
applicants until we hear back from a percentage of admitted students. As
the deadline for acceptance is next Monday, we anticipate contacting
wait-list applicants at any moment in the next days. We appreciate your
patience in this process.

請問在這種情況下, 我該先寄信給正取的學校說我接受offer, 再等待備取的學校嗎?

一般來說, 備取的情形是否都是415之後才決定呢? 謝謝

推 chihchan:備取一般多在3月底4月初通知
→ chihchan:因為一般大多數學生大概3月底大勢底定後

→ chihchan:當然偶而會有拖過415的情況
推 ChihWong:建議妳正取的先Hold住，等4/15星期一再回覆他們
