UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL MISSOURI FIRST-YEAR AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS
The University of Central Missouri was founded in 1871 with just a few
dozen students and more than 140 years later it serves nearly 12,000
students from the state, regional and national levels. The university also
has a diverse representation of international students from nearly 50
countries worldwide.
Scholarships are awarded to first-year undergraduate students who secure “
Regular” admission into University of Central Missouri. Successful
applicants need to have earned above average marks as a college/university or
secondary/high school student. Applicants should also present a career goal
statement as well as a brief statement stating why you believe we should

STUDENTS

CAMERON UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES MBA ADMISSION CHANGES
Announcing changes to the Master of Business Administration (MBA)
admission requirements beginning Spring 2014.
Students must meet one of the following criteria:
1) have a minimum undergraduate Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5
2) have a minimum score on the Graduate Management Admission Test
(GMAT) of 500 or a comparable converted score on the Graduate Record
Examination (GRE) utilizing the GRE Comparison Tool for Business
3) have a minimum composite score of 1000 using the formula: Score=GMAT +
(200*undergraduate GPA).

INTERNATIONAL BIOTECHNOLOGY GRAD STUDENTS FROM STEPHEN F.
AUSTIN STATE UNIVERSITY FEATURED
At Stephen F. Austin State University, two of our international Biotechnology
graduate students are featured in an article on an exciting funded research
project they have been participating in! The students are currently studying
the
DNA of the Sunn pest (responsible for destroying millions of acres of wheat
crops throughout Northern Africa, Northern Asia and Eastern Europe). The
results of the research could be used to produce a bio-pesticide that kills
the insect before it can harm any crops.
There are many interesting research opportunities for graduate students here
at Stephen F. Austin State University!

FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY'S COLLEGE OF LAW ANNOUNCES
MASTER OF LAWS DEGREE
The College of Law will offer a Master of Laws degree, a one-year program for
attorneys holding law degrees from outside the United States.
The first class of students will enroll in the fall semester of 2014. The
degree,
known as an LL.M., provides an introduction to the study of United States law
and gives students a general, conversant level of understanding of United
States legal institutions, substantive law, and practice. After completing
the LL.M., and depending on the courses selected by the student, graduates
may sit for the New York Bar.
