The UT Global Initiative is a consortium of recognized training programs at
The University of Texas at Austin that delivers high-quality teacher
training, faculty development, executive education, and English as a second
language (ESL) instruction. Our mission is to use the power of education for
the advancement of the global community by opening avenues of dialogue,
building sustainable leadership, and fostering environments of learning.

To meet the needs of international students with differing backgrounds and
geographic origins, UTGI has developed Fast Track, a set of accelerated
learning programs designed to prepare international students for academic
life at U.S. colleges and universities.

Fast Track programs offer students:
‧      Intensive ESL instruction from the Intensive American English Institute
(IAEI);
‧      Academic and leadership seminars taught by UT Austin faculty; and
‧      The opportunity for qualified students to enroll as non-degree seeking
students in summer courses at The University of Texas at Austin.
Completion of the Fast Track program provides students with a valuable
credential from one of the largest and most respected universities in the
United States, enhancing their academic and professional careers.
