[請益] 請問一句英文句子的用法

這是遠東高中英文課本第二冊第二課的一個句子

Whatever the bride wears, it is also traditional that she be the
                                                         ^^^^
best-dressed woman at the wedding party.

想請問為什麼在這邊是用be，而不是用is，煩請大家幫個小忙

推 sbbig:省略should, 這是subjunctive mood,跟suggest/insist/order
→ sbbig:that 子句中動詞要用原形(省略should) 一樣
