Hello Everyone!
I know you're all antsy to hear some good news and I finally have some to
tell you!
I've been working on leaving my label for a while now, and moving to
somewhere else to put this record out finally and give it the push it deserves
…and I'm happy to announce that I will be putting the record out ON MY OWN!
With help from good friends in the business and an amazing team, I'm putting
together my own Label. This gives me the freedom to make my own decisions, to
invest in myself, and to do what I want, when I want. This is the way to go
these days in the music business and I am sooooooo lucky to be able to do it.
There are no firm details as to when exactly the record will be released, but
I am doing everything in my power to make the process as speedy as possible.
I will let you all know of course as soon as I find out more.
Now on to even better news…I am in the process of booking sporadic shows all
over the US starting in April. Most of them will be college dates and private
gigs at first, but there are also talks of a tour this summer with a bigger
name act and a possible headlining tour later in the year. Also, we are now
booking a 3-week Brazilian tour to start the end of this June that will
possibly spill over to other countries in South America. As soon as dates
have been set I will let all you fans down there know. I'm so excited!
I am sooooo looking forward to getting back out on the road, playing Calling
favorites and lots of great new songs as well. I have an awesome new band and
we're currently rehearsing to get ready to play for you all. And NOW I will
be able to offer you some of my new material at the shows before I even
release it worldwide on own my private label!
Lastly, I wanted to tell you to keep your eyes out for a TV show called
"Moonlight" on CBS airing April 24th featuring a couple of new songs from my
upcoming record. And I will be making an appearance on one or two of the
episodes of the new Real World Hollywood season which starts airing April
16th and April 17th on MTV. Check it out!
That's all for now…as soon as I get more info, you all will be the first to
hear. I am free now; free to give you guys everything I can, whenever I want,
and whenever you want it! There is so much exciting stuff in the works! Stay
tuned next week for something special.

ALEX即將離開現在的唱片公司(因為一直無法發片+其他問題...)
所以ALEX決定離開自己另創公司發片
其實我也不確定這到底是好是壞
短時間來說~~ALEX即將發行EP~~意思就是我們可以用CD聽到他的歌了
長時間來看~~因為唱片業真的很不景氣(美國更慘吧!)經濟環境也差
我滿擔心小公司在各個宣傳上會更加困難
當然還是希望ALEX可以做的很好!!
