限制條件 x + y = 20
x, y 不小於零
或者你另 x , 20-x

如果一個數乘上另一個數的根號盡可能最大
f(x) = x√(20-x)
f'(40/3) = 0
所以開根號的那個數為20/3 另一個數為40/3
也可用Lagrange multiplier殺雞焉用牛刀
f(x,y) = x √y + k ( x + y - 20 )
=> √y + k = 0 = x/2√y + k = x + y - 20
x : y = 2 : 1
=> ( x , y ) = ( 40/3 , 20/3 )
: (b)if one number plus the square root of the other is to be as large as
: possible.
如果一個數加上另一個數的根號盡可能最大
f(x) = x + √(20-x)
f'(79/4) = 0
所以那兩數為 79/4 , 1/4
