F.T.M.: a Female To Male transsexual a person born anatomically
female who identifies as a man and is planning to have SRS and
phaloplasty. (身體結構為女性，認定自己為男性而且打算要做變性手術、陰莖的人）
M.T.F.: A Male-To-Female transsexual. A person who is born
anatomically male, in the process of transitioning into a woman
by HRT and SRS.（跟上面差不多，也是指會或已使用荷爾蒙且打算做手術的生理男性
，心理女性的人）
Non-Op: A person who is or identifies as transsexual and is
living as a member of the other sex but is not planning to have
Sex Reassignment Surgery because of health problems, lack of
money for the operation, or personal preference. Not to be
confused with a drag king/queen or a homosexual.（認定自己是變性慾，也用
另一個性別生活，但是由於健康問題或是經濟問題或個人的喜好，不打算做變性手術
。跟drag king/queen 或 同性戀是不一樣的喔！我希望有人能幫忙解釋drag king/
drag queen,美國的drag king不少） 通常寫成：Non-Op F.T.M. 或 Non-Op M.T.F.
Pre-Op: A transsexual in transition, especially one who is in the
later stages, and is planning on having SRS in the future, time,
health and funds permitting. （變性慾在過渡的最後階段，計畫未來、時間、
經濟許可要手術） 通常寫成：Pre-Op M.T.F. 或 Pre-Op F.T.M.
手術完成的就是Post-Op F.T.M. 或 Post-Op M.T.F.
Transbian: A Male-To-Female transsexual who identifies as a
lesbian and is attracted to women, especially other
Male-To-Female transsexuals.（這是我覺得最有趣的名詞，把Transsexual
與lesbian加在一塊兒變成了Transbian）
有些日本人是打 "MtF-TV"、"MtF-TG"、"MtF-TS"
