[問題] Employee Socialization and Orientation

正在翻一篇有關人力資源管理的文章
該章標題為employee socialization and orientation
談新進員工的引導訓練（orientation)
有句話不甚明瞭

"Many organizations often see orientation primarily
as a way to process new employees (i.e., completing
paperwork) rather than as a way to inspire them and
make them feel good about the choice they have made
to join the organization."
我對這段的理解是：「許多公司只把引導訓練當作紙上作業
程序。而不藉此機會鼓舞員工，讓他們覺得選擇加入該公司
是得其所哉。」

但其實這段的"process"這個動詞，我不是很明白背後的意思
公司"process"員工，是要作什麼呢？是表示「走完」既定程
序，只把orientation當成例行公事，不重視其實質作用的意
思嗎？

推 MilchFlasche:Babylon說，process動詞本來就有treat, adapt,
→ MilchFlasche:subject to series of procedures; prepare,
→ MilchFlasche:make ready等意思，所以我想朝這方向去翻就可以吧:)
→ MilchFlasche:可以說是用一定的程序「料理」他們嗎:p
