under the radar 有不被注意／檯面下的意思
簡單的說，就是同性戀不在天擇的注意範圍裡（所以沒有被淘汰掉）。這裡所隱含的意
思是：說同性戀「違反自然」的說法是不對的，因為自然法則並未將其淘汰掉。
subject only to the winds of passion -> 同性戀之有無決定於熱情之有無

記得有這麼一回事。
