我覺得都可以耶
雖然這樣說有點不負責任但是
國三生至少要確定認知到
含感官動詞的主動據與被動句 受詞補語之轉換方法
就夠了
如下:

People see the lady wear a big diamond ring at the party.
= The lady is seen to wear a diamond at the party
                   ^^^^^^^
以及
People see the lady wearing a big diamond ring at the party.
= The lady is seen wearing a diamond at the party
                   ^^^^^^^

如果要深究這題到底要用 to wear 還是 wearing比較好
那我們用主動句來分析也許比較直觀  wear vs. wearing
wear本來就可以加ing表達 "身上正穿戴著"的意思

   Peopel see it
1) The woman is wearing a big diamond ring at the party.
2) The woman      wears a big diamond ring at the party.
我覺得都可以耶

如果非要說 2比1還優
我可能會解釋說
因為at the party 比較像是地方副詞 時間性比較微弱
所以應該解釋成
在派對場合裡戴上大鑽戒
也就會理所當然地使用wear了
Ex. I wear glasses to read
Ex. She wears perfume to the party
