[人生] desire

從前在讀某文章時看到的, 覺得很有道理!　

"There will always be desire for the past,
        even as there are hopes for the future."

中譯:

對於過去我們總是會有渴望,正如希望存在於未來。

(就我的理解是,一個人回首過去的時候總會有些小遺憾會想說如果能怎樣就更好了,etc)


太久以前了找不到出處Orz...

推 goodenough:我覺得even as應該翻成"即使"  even when的感覺
→ hahastarr:even as的意思就是正當/正如;即使的話才是even if/when
→ hahastarr:雖說可能也是通順但是並不是作者的原意。
