Winning my third Most Valuable Player award today is something that holds
special significance to me. There are so many gifted players in this game,
and I don't for a moment take this achievement for granted. I shouldn't need
to remind anyone of the MVP-caliber seasons that Magglio Ordonez, Vladimir
Guerrero, Jorge Posada, David Ortiz and several other AL players put together.
My sincere thanks to the Baseball Writers Association of America for this
great honor.

贏得第三座MVP獎對我來說意義重大，參與競爭的球員們均賦才能，而我也不會將

這項成就視為理所當然。我或許不需要向你們重述以下這些MVP的候選者：Magglio

Ordonez, Vladimir Guerrero, Jorge Posada, David Ortiz以及數位其他的美聯球

員。另外我也要誠摯地感謝美國棒球作家協會給我這份榮耀。



I want thank my teammates for putting me in the position to succeed as much
as they did this season. It's fun to analyze and dissect individual statistics,
but baseball is a team game. I'm proud of the season I had, but sharing it
with teammates who care about each other, and who work towards a common goal
makes it that much more special.

我想要向我的隊友致謝，他們給了我成功的機會，就像他們今年球季位球隊所做的一

樣。單就一位球員的成績來分析數據很有趣，但是棒球是個團隊運動。我以今年球季

為傲，但是我想將它與我的隊友分享，他們彼此關心，共同為一個目標努力打拼

。這一切，都使得這座獎特別。(好感人 Q_____Q)


I also want to thank the fans of New York. It's no coincidence that we played
at such a high level at Yankee Stadium, and a big part of that success is
undoubtedly tied to the excitement that they bring to each game. Hearing
55,000 Yankees fans chanting "MVP" is such a special feeling, and it will be
a lasting memory that I will always carry with me. It's no secret I fed off
their energy, and I feel like I did my best to bring that same type of en-
thusiasm and excitement to them.

我也要感謝紐約的球迷。我們今年在洋基球場的高水準表現絕非偶然，其中絕大部分

無疑地與球迷們帶來球場的興奮感有關。聽著五萬多人讚頌"MVP"是多麼特別的感受啊！

而我相信這份感覺將會長久成為我回憶的一角，我會永遠記得。球迷的鼓勵給了我動

力，而我也盡量地將這種熱情回報給他們。


I grew as a person, and grew into my surroundings in 2007. There is no way
for me to quantify how much those things played a part in the season I had,
but they certainly did. Enjoying and loving what you do is the key to any
type of success in life, and I am thankful I was able to find that in 2007.

成長為人，並且變為能習慣週遭環境的我，無法將今年那些參與我成長的人事物加

以計量，但是他們都在那裡。享受與愛著你們所做的一切，是生命中的致勝關鍵，

而我也感激，我在07年找到了這些。


Before I close, I'd like to thank the countless numbers of you who have taken
the time to send e-mails with your questions, opinions and support. I also
would like to wish you and your families a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.
