BALTIMORE -- Alex Rodriguez returned to the lineup on Sunday after
missing the last two games with the stomach flu, while Jason Giambi
sat out for the second straight game because of similar problems.
因為胃部不適缺陣兩場後 Alex Rodriguez 重返週日先發陣容，這時 Jason
Giambi 因為相似的困擾連兩場都缺陣。
Rodriguez batted cleanup and was the designated hitter for the first
time this season, still not having enough energy to play third base.
Rodriguez 打清壘四棒也是本季第一次擔任指定打擊，他仍無法有足夠體力
擔任三壘手。
"He's still a little on the weak side, but that's a step in the right
direction," said manager Joe Torre.

Before being scratched Friday, Rodriguez had played in all of the
team's first 52 games. Entering Sunday, Rodriguez was batting .298
with 13 homers and 44 RBIs. He walked in his first plate appearance
Sunday.
