Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli talked about the victory in Holland against
PSV (2-0), which qualified the Viola to the Uefa Cup semifinals.

Coach Cesare Prandelli was all smiles after Fiorentina's 2-0 win away to PSV
in the Uefa Cup quarter-finals. Considering the first leg result, a 1-1 draw
at the Artemio Franchi stadium, and the quality of the opponent, it can
definitely be seen as one of the most impressive results of his reign as
coach of the Viola.

"This is a very proud and memorable moment," he said right after the match.
"I was quite calm, perhaps even too much, before the game, but I had faith in
the players and indeed they played a great match, especially up front:
[Giampaolo] Pazzini, [Mario] Santana, and [Adrian] Mutu all moved around
well, and when this happens the team can do well. I give my compliments to
everyone."

When he was asked about Fiorentina's prospects in the remainder of this
tournament, the coach said: "Rangers? For now I just want to celebrate this
win with the lads, after that we will think about the league and everything
else."

The Viola will now undoubtedly be favorites to qualify for the final, and
they also stand a very good chance of qualifying for the Champions League, as
they currently have a 4-point lead over fifth-placed Milan in Serie A.
