Two ex Lecce captains, Piangerelli and Viali, speak about the match against
Zeman’s squad.
“We shall go on the pitch determined without thinking too much about our
opponents but thinking about our game.” Viali and Piangerelli, former Lecce,
have no doubts that this is the right track to take to achieve consistent
results. “We are in a good moment,” said Viali, “And now we must think about
maintaining our condition.”
"We are playing well,” added Piangerelli, “And tomorrow against Lecce will be
surely a difficult match but I’m confident in our qualities.” Viali also
spoke about the young Bulgarian talent who he faced in a friendly match: “Four
years ago in the youth team, you had to ‘shoot’ him down to stop him, and now
he is confirming himself at the highest levels.” In the afternoon the squad went
on the pitch for the last training under the orders of mister Sergio Buso.
