Fiorentina are set to beat Liverpool and Palermo to the signature of Spartak
Moscow defender Nemanja Vidic.

According to the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’, Viola director of sport Pantaleo
Corvino has flown in to Moscow for a special meeting to clinch the deal and
received a positive response from the player.
根據Gazzetta dello Sport報導，體育主管Pantaleo Corvino為了確保協定飛往Moscow
，而且也獲得了球員正面的反應。
Corvino, who discovered stars such as Javier Ernesto Chevanton and Valeri
Bojinov when they were teenagers, was in the stands for Spartak’s 1-1 draw
with Lokomotiv.

Spartak will enter the Champions League, but are ready to part with their
24-year-old central defender in January for around €5m and have also received
interest from Liverpool and Palermo.

It’s reported that Fiorentina have offered Vidic a four-year contract worth
€2m in order to join Serie A during the transfer window.

The Serb international is 1.88m tall and weighs 84kg, making him a powerful
and imposing figure in central defence – something the Viola have been
lacking this term.
