Bayern make Bojinov approach

Bayern Munich have made an offer for frozen-out Fiorentina forward Valeri
Bojinov, according to reports in Italy.
The German champions have been tracking the striker for some time and his
recent falling out with Viola management, in addition to the Bulgarian’s
public declaration that he would like to play for Bayern, has encouraged the
Bavarian side to make a bid.
Bayern are said to be willing to part with ?7m to lure the 19-year-old to the
Allianz Arena, leaving the Gigliati to agonise over whether to sell the
controversial teenager or keep hold of a player they consider to have great
future potential.
Coach Cesare Prandelli would appear to be in favour of keeping faith with the
firebrand forward.
"It is a shame what has happened but let’s hope he comes back to the side as
soon as possible," said Prandelli of the player who has been dropped to the
youth team as punishment for his public outbursts.
"The club has got rules and principles and it’s only right that they should
be respected," he added. "But I have never had a problem with him and we are
ready to help him out."
Bojinov’s trouble in Tuscany continued over the weekend when he was sent-off
while playing for the club’s Primavera side.
