Fiorentina are hot on the trail of Real Betis winger Joaquin, according to
reports in Italy.
根據義大利報導，FIO正在追逐Real Betis鋒翼Joaquin。
President Andrea Della Valle has decided to bring in reinforcements, in order
to establish the Viola as a leading light in Serie A, and he is already
planning for next season by signing a top quality midfielder in the summer.

Joaquin is almost certain to leave at the end of the campaign, despite having
a €41m minimum release fee built into his contract, which expires in 2010,
and it is thought the Seville club are willing to do business for around €12m.

Fiorentina will find competition for the 24-year-old intense as a number of
clubs are trailing the Spain international, including Real Madrid, Juventus,

Della Valle, who has also been linked with a move for Arsenal winger Robert
Pires, is said to be willing to pay between €10 and €12.5m for the

In the meantime, the Tuscan club are keen on bolstering their squad in order
to hit their Champions League target at the end of the season and sporting
director Pantaleo Corvino has been very busy recently.

A €2.7m offer has been made to Ternana to sign Chilean midfielder Luis
