Sebastien Frey is now a Fiorentina player and has thanked the club for
sticking by him throughout his injury.
成為FIO一份子的Frey，感謝球隊在他受傷時所做的一切。
“Despite the fact I was out for months with a knee injury, the club has
always treated me very well and I am grateful for that,” said the goalkeeper.
"儘管因膝傷而缺陣數個月，球團還是待我非常好，我非常感激。"
Frey was only at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on loan this season, but Parma
have agreed to sell his contract outright for ￡4m.
Frey本季以租借方式加盟FIO，但Parma已經同意轉會費￡4M。
“I won’t take any holiday time this summer, as I’ll continue my recovery
programme with physiotherapist Stefano Dainelli. I want to be 100 per cent
fit as soon as possible so that I can give my best to Fiorentina.”

The French shot-stopper has been out of action since suffering the injury
during a Coppa Italia game against Juventus in January, but his confirmation
could see his replacement – former Ajax man Bogdan Lobont – sold on.

“Frey’s signing is an important signal for the future of this side,”
explained director of sport Pantaleo Corvino.

“The fact he agreed a five-year contract shows just how much confidence
there is in the club. Thanks to a reasonable debate with Parma, and Frey’s
agents agreeing to make a few sacrifices, we all managed to settle on a
