Fiorentina midfielder Fabio Liverani seems to have recovered from the
physical problems which have sidelined him in recent weeks and could make a
return in the Uefa Cup against Rosenborg on Thursday.
Liverani cannot wait to get back on the pith with the Viola and he has been
training regularly in the last few days with his team, following some recent
physical problems.
"I've been training with the team for a few days now and I must say that I'm
fine," explained the former Lazio midfielder.
"I cannot wait to be back, even though I must say that who substituted did
very well."
Fiorentina welcome Rosenborg at the Artemio Franchi stadium on Thursday, with
the first leg ending with a 1-0 win for the Italian side in Norway.
"They will be a tough opponent, but if the public will be close to us, we can
succeed. Let's not forget that we have a goal advantage," reminded Liverani.
Adrian Mutu grabbed the only goal in Norway last week.
