A look around the derby statistics reveals some interesting facts about
the intercity rivalry

Milan’s derby always promises some interesting statistics and this year
won't disappoint. Inter won both legs of this season’s derby for the first
time since the 1981-82 season. In fact, in the last fifteen years Milan took
both legs in three seasons:

happened in the 2004-05 season:
Inter-Milan 0-1 (Kaka) - Serie A
Milan-Inter 2-0 (Stam, Shevchenko) - Champions League
Inter-Milan 0-3 (on agg. after game was abandoned due to rowdy Inter fans,
0-1 Shevchenko) - Champions League
Ronaldo’s late first half goal means that he is now one of the players that
has scored in the derby for both sides. The last player to achieve this status
was our own Clarence Seedorf back in February 2004.
