OFFICIAL: Marco Storari Signs Two-Year Extension With Milan
The club have moved to secure the goalkeeper's services. His contract was
previously due to expire in June 2010...
Milan have extended Marco Storari's contract until 2012, the club have
announced.
A statement on the club's official website reads, "AC Milan would like to
communicate the extension of Marco Storari's contract until June 30, 2012."
Storari joined Milan in 2007, but spent various spells on loan with Levante,
Cagliari and Fiorentina.
The Rossoneri called him back from the Viola this summer following injuries
to Nelson Dida and Christian Abbiati. The 32-year-old Pisa-born goalkeeper
has started all of matches this season, including seven in Serie A and two in
the Champions League.
His original contract was due to expire next summer, but the club have moved
to secure his services for the long-term.
