MILAN - 'Gazzetta dello Sport' reports an interview with Andrea Pirlo
who talks about his role of penalty taker. 'To be the first-choice
penalty taker is not a burden to me. It is a responsibility but gives
me great pleasure. Coldness is the first thing required. Then you must
always be certain of the place where to put the ball, without showing
indecisions. In the very last moments before kicking, you feel the
tense atmosphere of the stadium. But when you set the ball on the spot
, only the goal and the keeper do exist.'
