MILANELLO – Andrea Pirlo may not be part of the Italy squad for the upcoming
Euro 2004 qualifiers but the midfielder has not ruled out a return to the int
-ernational set-up.
He said: 'Trapattoni has adopted a new style of the play which he feels o
-ther players can adapt to, so my exclusion is due to tactical reasons. Howev
-er, I want to pull on the blue shirt again so I will have to just keep playi
-ng well at Milan.’
PIRLO也許沒辦法在即將開打的2004年歐洲杯錦標賽資格賽中出賽，但是，他誓言他將

MILANELLO - Andrea Pirlo joined the ever-growing band of those trumpeting
the form of new signing Kaka who made his Milan Serie A debut on Monday
evening a-t Ancona.
Pirlo said: ‘He impressed everyone, he played really well at Ancona,
and showed that he has the temperament for the big occasion. He’s still
young and will improve further – at Milan he will be given the time to
become an even better player.’
However, Pirlo believes that Rivaldo will also rediscover his form following
a difficult season in Italy.
Pirlo maintained: ‘He is still a top player and although he hasn’t had
the best of times lately he’ll be back to his best soon. He is very
motivated in training and you can see he wants to do well, he just has to
get his chance and take it.’
PIRLO也對於KAKA義甲的處女秀印象非常深刻，他說：

MILANELLO – Andrea Pirlo has joined the chorus of outcry from the Milan camp
following Paolo Maldini’s red card in the opening game of the season at Ancona.
The Milan captain was sent-off along with home defender Fabio Bilica after the
pair clashed but Pirlo believes that Maldini had good reason to react the way
he did.
He said: ‘I know Paolo and the way he is so he must have had good
justification.’
However, Pirlo believes that Milan are set to enjoy a successful season. He
said:
‘We played very well in Montecarlo and then at Ancona so we are looking to
continue like this. I think we have great psychological strength this
season and a greater belief in ourselves.'
The 24-year-old still maintains that defending champions Juventus will be the
team to beat once again this season but the championship race will be close.
He said:
‘It’s no surprise that Juve started the campaign in good form, but the
two Roman sides looked good. It’s going to be a finely-balanced title
race.’
PIRLO也同時為馬爾蒂尼辯護，他說：
「我知道PAOLO這個人，我相信他一定是有他的理由。」
PIRLO也同時對於這賽季的米蘭有信心，他說：

球隊也表現搶眼 。我相信這將會是一個質量均衡的競爭。」
