MILANO -
Rossonero chief executive Adriano Galliani took part in the launch of Rino
Gattuso's foundation and said: 'Rino is an extraordinary player and
extraordinary man, a real prototype of our Milan. The president has signed his
autobiograpghy which was kind of him. As for the rest, Rino had the right
characteristics as soon as he arrived at Milan, to develop and reach where he
is today. Some have criticised and doubted the fact he could wear the Milan
shirt, instead he has shown grit and determination and demonstrated that he has
the technique and absolute worth, on and away from the pitch.' Adriano Galliani
also talked about the great moment the team is having and said: 'We've won a
lot of games because we have been united quality and quantity. On Sunday, after
the game between Roma and Juventus, I will be able say who I fear more. The
advantage we have over our title challengers is a good one, but we cannot
relax beacuse in the last seasons the team that keeps going wins.' Of the
various questions raised, the one concerning the Materazzi-Cirillo episode,
drew a reponse: 'It was without doubt an ugly episode, it is not for me to
judge, it will be up to the justice of sport. Certainly, they are gestures that
do not look good for football.'
