MILANELLO - Christian Abbiati has decided to reamain a Rossonero for his
seventh year despite failing to gain a regular place and before the dinner
explained why. The goalkeeper said: 'During the summer break I didn't read
the newspapers or listen to any transfer rumours surrounding me. Milan are my
family and it is difficult to leave a team like this. It's true I have played
little and had few chances. However, my objective is to make it difficult for
Carlo Ancelotti to leave me out and I want to show I am worth a place. I am
working on that every season.'
