MILAN - Massimo Ambrosini explains Milan template: 'On Saturday we
used the 4-4-2 which is a well-defined system and it's easier to
perform by players like Gattuso and me. It's Rui Costa who has to
sacrifice himself in this way. To be honest, I don't believe the
template itself is a problem, but its performance.' A word for Rui
Costa who immediately retired to the dressing-rooms, after being
replaced in the game against Juventus: 'I'm sure he did it
instinctively, it didn't mean he was not interested in the result
of the game. It's often hard to think straight in the heat of the
moment, but we know Rui suffered with the team until the end.'

AMBROSINI: 'I really long for playing'

MILAN - Massimo Ambrosini has been contacted in exclusive by the Milan
Channel during their 'Studio Milan' programme. The blond midfielder
focuses on his return to the pitch after a month's injury: 'I really
long for playing and making my contribution to this team in order to
win something. I also want to score, of course. On Saturday I was
close but then the ball didn't find the net. Never mind, I will have
other goalscoring chances.' Ambrosini then tells about Trefoloni's
refereeing of Milan vs Juventus: 'All considered, he did quite well,
although he made some mistakes. My booking was too severe: players
like me are conceded not so much, we are easily punished by referees.
When you take the pitch as a substitute, you are really tense and you
pull out all your grit.'
