NESTA: 'Lazio-Roma? My prevoius team-mates will do their duty'

MILANELLO - Alessandro Nesta met the journalists at today's press conference.
The Rossonero defender spoke about Wednesday's capital derby and said:

'Lazio-Roma is a crucial game for the Giallorossi and very important for us as
 well. Don't forget that there is much at stake for Lazio as well.I have not
 heard anyone of my previous team-mates because I think there is no reason now.
 I know the tension dominating on the eve of such a game and I think they are
 all very focused and will do their duty.'

「ROMA DERBY對於LAZIO和米蘭而言都是關鍵的比賽。
  不要忘記，LAZIO也同樣處於重要的時間點。
  到目前為止沒有接到任何前隊友的電話，而我想，現在也沒有理由。
  我知道在這樣重大比賽前夕那種緊張的氣氛，我想他們正全神貫注，
  並且會全力以赴。」

NESTA: 'A look at the derby but not the Champions League'

MILANELLO - Alessandro Nesta will be interested in the big clash at the
Olimpico stadium. On the contrary, the Rossonero half-back has confessed that
he is not intentioned to watch the Champions League. He said:

'It is clear that I will look at the derby, but I won't do the same with the
Champions League. The real star in this competition was Milan but unfortunately
this big team have been knocked out. I don't think it is good to watch games
which remind me of sad moments.'

NESTA談到星期三晚上兩場重要賽事：

「我不會看歐冠比賽，不過我肯定不會錯過羅馬德比。
  在我眼裡歐冠比賽中唯一值得關注的隊伍就是米蘭
  而他已經不幸被淘汰了，我不認為我有想看這場比賽，
  這會讓我想起那個悲傷的時刻。」

The Serie A actually remains Milan's last target, but Nesta does not think it
is less significant. He continued:

'Last season we won the Champions League, now we are close to another important
 objective. This demonstrates that this group have started a winning cycle and
 are able to confirm at a high level. This team is really part of me, I think
 I made the right choice to join Milan, a club which has given me the chance
 to play extraordinary games.'

聯賽冠軍是米蘭現階段唯一一個目標，然而NESTA不認為他的重要性比不上歐冠冠軍

「上賽季我們贏得了歐冠冠軍，而這賽季我們接近另一個目標-聯賽冠軍。
  這個現象足以說明這支隊伍進入了一個冠軍循環中，同時也讓我們的水平持續
  維持在高峰。
  我已經完全融入米蘭了，我想，加入米蘭是最正確的決定，這個球隊讓我有這麼多機會
  去取得更多重要比賽的機會。」

The merit for the success lies with the group and with the ability to face
situations together, according to Sandro. He said:

'We have an extraordinary group who has two coaches, [Carlo] Ancelotti and
 [Mauro] Tassotti, who are like two team-mates for us. This unity is evident
 on the pitch as well, when we play and react together to difficulties.'

米蘭成功的因素就在於對於成功的決心和有能力一起面對任何狀況。

「我們有兩位相當傑出的教練-安切落蒂和塔所蒂，他們對我們而言就像兩個隊友一樣。
  在場上我們的團結是相當明顯的，我們一起面對困難，一起解決困難。」

Will Alessandro Nesta be able to emulate Billy Costacurta and Paolo Maldini's
achievements on and off the pitch? The defender replied:

'At the moment these two players have long contracts to see off and they are
 the real spiritual leaders of this team. When times are rife to take over
 from one of the two, we will see. The strength of this team is also that we
 are able to respect certain hierarchies.'

問到NESTA是否也想向BILLY和MALDINI一樣成為米蘭隊長並且在此退役？

「現在這個時刻，這兩名球員還有很長的時間會跟我們在一起，他們是米蘭的精神領袖
  。等到時間到了，我們就繼任者會知道是誰了。
  米蘭的另一個優點就是我們對於這樣的領袖人物永遠都是懷抱尊敬。」
