LISBON - Defender Alessandro Nesta was present at the Italy press conference on
Saturday and said: 'The strongest Italy side will take the pitch. It's similar t
o the side that played in the last World Cup two years ago.' Then speaking about
the system of play, Nesta added: 'We are all part of this group, a united group
and we will adapt to whatever system the coach picks. There is always competitio
n, everyone wants to play but it does not split the side. I would like to meet F
rance in the final. Our first opponents, however, are Denmark, a team we really
respect. It will be a game to test our fitness.'
