Italy defended Alessandro Nesta has criticised his team-mates following Monday's
0-0 draw with Denmark."The problem is that we run badly because we are too dista
nt on the pitch," he said. "When you find the nearest team-mate 20 metres far
from you, you don't have many alternative solutions to exchange. This is a waste
of energy, but the fuel in the tank was the same as the opponents."

He added: 'I hope that this European Championship will be as long as possible,o
r that the highest number of players can be fielded. Trap will do something.'"
