MILANELLO - Alessandro Nesta was next to Dario Simic to comment
Milan's 2-1 defeat to Lazio in the first leg of the Italian Cup semi-
finals. The Rossonero defender analysed the game with a critical mind
but in a serene attitude. He said: 'We played poorly in the first
half, the game started immediately with the wrong foot, and once a
certain course is taken, it is difficult to make U-turns. In the
second period we improved and could even draw level but it went like
this. Defeats are part of fooball, but it is not all settled yet
against Lazio. We can still bounce back in Rome, we have the chance
to win and change the situation. We have had good results so far,
this slip-up does not affect our campaign. We don't even have to
think of it too much, we must look ahead and go back our winning
ways.'
And Milan could just start from the Serie A game against Perugia at
the weekend. Nesta said: 'Serse Cosmi's side have changed a lot, they
are an unpredictable team. We will have to be alert. Milan are a team
who score one goal sooner or later, the important thing is not to
concede any. About the big clash between Roma and Juventus the
defender confessed: 'How would I like it to finish? Every result will
be the same for me.'
