MILAN – Here is an excerpt from a face to face interview between
Silvio Berlusconi and Ricky Kaka just before last night’s A.C. Milan
holiday party:
Silvio Berlusconi: ‘Kaka is the ideal man, not just because of his
talent as an athlete but also because of his talent in being a
human being. He is a good guy and can stand tall next to anyone.
I believe that his sincerity is very appealing to the fans.’
Kaka: ‘I am really happy with what Berlusconi said. I consider Milan
to be the greatest club in the world and my desire to stay here
is very, very strong.’
Silvio Berlusconi: That's good, now I can relax. To be honest, we knew
even back in 2003 when Kaka arrived that he was a great player but
we didn’t realize that he would become a true symbol of Milan. I
am very proud to have the number one player in the world with us.’
Kaka: It is absolutely true that affection like this can only be found
here at Milan.’
Silvio Berlusconi: ‘Good, we’ll stay together then. Kaka has a five
year contract with Milan and will certainly remain at Milan.’
