La Gazzetta dello Sport continues to cover the rise of Milan’s new star
Kaka, polling the thoughts of former Rossoneri greats who have all been
impressed by the Brazilian’s class. Former capatian Franco Baresi said:
‘He has the ability to cause any defence problems. He has the speed and I
think we’ll go on to be a major talent. He reminds me of Boban.’
Another former captain, Cesare Maldini, believes the 21-year-old possesses
the ability but does not want to get too carried away just yet. He said:
‘He certainly has talent but let’s not reach for the moon straight away.’
Former striker and compatriot of Kaka’s, Jose Altafini draws a comparison
with Juventus star Michel Platini. He claimed: ‘He’s got football in his
blood and reminds me of Platini.’ However, another striker, Aldo Serena
sees similarities with current Serie A star Roma captain Francesco Totti.
He said: ‘Kaka is the type of player who knows the right moment to use the
ball. He’s like Totti.’
Defender Fulvio Collovati, said: ‘He reminds me of Veron, but he’s faster
and has better concentration.’ Midfielder Alberigo Evani concludes: ‘He’s
like Boban but maybe a little more effective. He has demonstrated that he
has the personality to be a complete player.’

誰是當今足壇上升勢頭最猛的一顆新星，如果說這個人是AC米蘭的巴西小將
卡卡，恐怕不會有太多的人提出質疑，在剛剛結束的世界盃預選賽南美賽區的比
賽中，卡卡在59分鐘替換阿萊士上場，第一次觸球就敲開了哥倫比亞隊的球門，
也正是這個進球，令巴西隊 2-1取得了勝利。現在看來，不光是在AC米蘭，在國
家隊，卡卡也搶去了裏瓦爾多的風頭。
對於這位新星，AC米蘭的昔日巨星們予以了特別的關注，巴雷西說：" 他擁
