Boriello Denies Doping Claims
小博否認使用禁藥
AC Milan man Marco Boriello has categorically denied any wrongdoing after
recent reports spoke of the player having resorted to the use of banned
substances. Boriello tested positive in a test that took place before the
Rossoneri met the Giallorossi.
在最近藥物檢驗報告中小博的檢驗結果含有禁藥成分，但米蘭前鋒博列洛明確地否認
做了不該做的事情。這份報告出爐的時間是在米蘭對陣烏迪內斯之前。
In an interview given to Italy’s ‘Il Giornale’ the number 15 roundly
denied that he’d done anything wrong. “I swear that I haven’t taken
anything”, claimed the 24 year-old who tested positive for cortisone in a
recent test.
接受《Il Giornale》專訪時，小博只是不停地否認他有做不好的事情：「我發誓我
沒有使用什麼禁藥。」但這位 24 歲的年輕人在最近的藥檢中被測出可體松的陽性
反應。
(關鍵應該是下面這兩段)
Cortisone is used to treat a variety of ailments, being administered
intravenously or subcutaneously. One of cortisone's effects on the body, and
a potentially harmful side effect when administered clinically, is the
suppression of the immune system.
The drug is not seen as deliberately performance-enhancing, rather than as an
aid to help in the reduction of swelling in tired and/or damaged muscle
groups. Nevertheless the substance is related to the anabolic steroid
(muscle builder) Cortisol and is banned by FIFA.
可體松常被用來醫治一些小的病痛，使用於靜脈或皮下。可體松其中一項對身體的
影響，就是對免疫系統的抑制，這也是臨床上使用可能對身體造成潛在的副作用之
一。
之前沒有刻意使用可體松這種藥物以刺激身體發揮超常表現的案例。可體松這種藥
物大多是用在幫助受損的肌肉細胞復原，或者肌肉疲勞，腫脹的恢復。儘管如此，
可體松的本質跟 anabolic steroid (合成類固醇) 還是同質的，因此被 FIFA 列為
禁藥之一。
(按：我知道的 anabolic steroid 就是之前在 MLB 吵得很凶的 Barry Bonds 案，
中文翻譯成合成類固醇，這有時國內就直接稱做興奮劑了。這種東西就是會促
進蛋白質的合成，增進肌力的東西，也叫做同化激素。這些東西的資料我記得
CClu 的 Blog 有一定程度的介紹。至於小博被測到的 Cortisol 其實是身體
裡就有的東西，是賀爾蒙分泌會產生的，而且跟睡眠有關係。不過 Cortisone
也是在臨床上最早被使用的類固醇，詳細的資料大概要看 www.steroid.com)
Coach Ancelotti has backed up his player to the hilt. “He was found
positive after a test on November. We are valuating and looking to understand
what happened. Certainly, on the part of the club that the product which
appeared is not used by Milan. Ours is a serious club in terms of this, Milan
check all its players closely”, he explained.
安切洛蒂在此時當然挺自己的子弟兵(果然是米蘭的阿切)：「他是在十一月被測出

“What happened didn't occur within Milanello, it could have escaped anyone
but it's certainly not something that is used at Milanello. He was taking
something for toothache at that time but I don't believe it depends on this,
the only thing that can be said about this medicine is that it is not a
steroid but a cortisone that is used for allergies and inflammation, but not
used at Milanello.”

Carlo ended with an appeal to common sense. “I am sorry, especially for the
player who is now suspended and we will look to understand what happened for
his best interests. He's definitely not going through a good period but we
are all close to him. If he has done something negligent, I am sure it was by
chance.”
「我很遺憾，尤其對一個被停賽的球員來說我現在能做的就是瞭解到底發生了什麼
