Oliveira’s abducted sister found Tuesday 13 March, 2007


  Ricardo Oliveira is flying high on Tuesday after it was confirmed that
his sister’s five-month kidnap ordeal has come to an end.

奧利維拉星期二確認被綁架五個月的姊姊平安後，已經飛回國處理事情了


  Maria de Lourdes Silva de Oliveira had been taken from her Sao Paolo home
in October, to be held for ransom, after two masked men tied up her husband
and eight-year-old son.

奧利維拉姊姊Maria去年十月糟兩名蒙面歹徒綁走

  Thankfully the 35-year-old has now been found safe and well as the Milan
website has confirmed this morning.

 三十五歲的Maria確認平安歸來，米蘭官網也證實這項消息

“I’m very happy, just as happy as Ricardo when he told me that his sister
was finally free and was doing well,” said Milan Vice-President Adriano
Galliani.

“I told him that we are all supporting him and that we are counting on him.
 “He is a great player as we see what he does in training. As Carlo Ancelotti
says, we are sure that he will also soon prove his talent in official matches.

“He will certainly stay next year and I believe that time will confirm that
he was an excellent buy for us.”

加禿和安切給於精神支持，除了恭喜與鼓勵奧利維拉，還說他下賽季會留在米蘭

Oliveira was the second Milan player to be caught up in a kidnap case. Kakha
Kaladze’s younger brother was also abducted in Georgia on May 23, 2001, but
the 21-year-old was unfortunately found dead.

奧利維拉是第二個家人遭綁架的米蘭球員......

Ricardo Oliveira has thanked Milan for their total support during his sister’
s kidnapping ordeal. “Now I want to prove my true value,” he noted.

The former Real Betis hitman joined the Rossoneri last summer, but has failed
to make an impact so far – a fact not helped by his sister’s abduction in
Brazil last October.

However, Maria de Lourdes Silva de Oliveira was found safe and well on
Tuesday and Oliveira is looking forward to getting back to reality.

“I have finally received this good news from Brazil and I am happy that she
is doing well,” said the 26-year-old.

“I didn’t know if my sister was alive or if she was okay, but now I can
finally focus on playing football for this side,” continued the striker.

“I want to do everything I can to repay this club for what it has done for
me. I want to say thank you to Milan because they have been really great with
me.”

Rumours had suggested that Oliveira’s San Siro stint would be brief given
his lack of form, but Vice-President Adriano Galliani confirmed on Tuesday
that the Brazilian will remain at the club next season.

之前八卦說OLI下賽季會離開米蘭
但是加禿星期二確認他並不會離隊。

“Now I will certainly be more relaxed and will be able to do better on the
field of play,” added the Brazilian international.

「現在我更放鬆，並且可以全力以赴。」

“I will try to do what people are expecting of me. I want to prove to
everyone that I was a good signing.”

Milan will host Atalanta over the weekend, as the fight for a Champions
League spot continues, although the defeat in the derby has left the
Rossoneri six points shy of fourth-placed Palermo.
