CAFU: 'I'm honoured'
SAO PAULO (BRAZIL) - Serene and relaxed. Evangelista de Moraes Marcos Cafu
speaks about his past with no hard feelings and looks ahead with confidence.
The power of holidays and of the fresh deal he clinched with Milan. 'I'm
really happy. It is a joy to play in a Rossonero shirt, Milan are a great
club. I'm proud that they have chosen me, now I hope to honour in the best
way this chance I am given.'

Marcos Cafu不避諱地談及他過去的職業生涯，而展望未來時帶著信心。

CAFU: 'I did well at Roma last season'
SAO PAULO (BRAZIL) - Marcos Cafu joins Milan one year after he captained
World Champions Brazil in Korea/Japan. 'Despite my hard work with Brazil
last summer, which was however rewarded by the World Cup title, I played a
lot last season with Roma. I took part to their 12 games in the Champions
League and collected 25 appearances including the Serie A and the Coppa
Italia, through to the San Siro final. I tried to do my best for the club,
as all my team-mates did. I suffered from an injury in the closing stage
of the season, but now I'm ok and holidays will further help.'

Cafu在擔任日韓世界盃巴西國家隊隊長一年後加入了米蘭
"儘管去年夏天我與巴西艱苦奮鬥，而那為我們贏得了世界冠軍的頭銜；
我這個賽季仍然在羅馬踢了相當多的比賽。我參加了十二場的歐洲冠軍
聯賽與二十五場的意甲聯賽和直到聖西羅決賽的義大利盃。我試著能為
俱樂部做到最好，如同我的隊友們一樣。在賽季末期我受了傷，但現在
已經差不多傷癒且度假有助於幫助。"
CAFU: 'Excited to return to Japan for the Intercontinental Cup'
Cafu can't wait to return to Japan for the Europe/South America trophy:
'I know Milan will play the Intercontinental Cup final in Yokohama. I'm
happy because every player dreams of playing such games and because I've
good memories of Japan. In 1993 I won this trophy with Sao Paulo beating
Milan: a hard-fought game against a great squad. We were lucky enough to
find the winner through Luis Muller in our 3-2 success. Last year then I
experienced the joy of winning the World Cup. It is exciting to play again
the Intercontinental Cup final ten years after my first one, this time in
a Rossonero shirt.'
Cafu:很高興能為豐田盃重返日本
"我知道米蘭將在橫濱踢豐田盃。我非常高興，因為每一個球員都夢想
著踢如此的比賽，而且我對東京有美好的回憶。在1993年我隨著聖保
羅擊敗米蘭（=.=）舉起了這座獎盃，米蘭是一隻偉大的球隊， 而這
場比賽非常艱困。我們相當幸運地用一球（3:2）險勝。 去年我在這
裡體驗了世界冠軍的感受。在我第一次踢豐田盃十年後之後，能再一
次為這個獎盃奮鬥還是很興奮的。這一次，我穿上了紅黑球衫。"
CAFU: 'Rivaldo will impress next season'
Brazilian new-signing Cafu can't skip over a question about his fellow
countrymen at Milan : 'There will be a Brazilian contingent next season
at the club. I know all Milan's Brazilian players, they are great stars
and great family men, which is very important for me. The Brazilians are
always happy when they have the chance to stay together, we are all brothers.
That's why I supported my compatriots in the recent Champions League final.
Rivaldo? It is normal that a star like him needed one year's time to adapt
in a new club, just after featuring in a World Cup. Now he has got used to
Italian football and will impress in the next season.'
Cafu：裏瓦下個賽季將有出彩表現
身為新進人員，Cafu免不了的會碰到關於同胞的問題。
"下個賽季這支俱樂部將有一支巴西代表隊。我知道米蘭的巴西球員，他們是
對我非常重要的偉大球星與偉大同鄉。當有機會能相聚時，巴西人總是非常
高興，我們是兄弟們。這也是為什麼在近年的歐冠決賽我支持同胞們。裏瓦？
對於一個像他這樣的球星來說，需要一年的時間來適應新的俱樂部是很正常

CAFU: 'I expect to find great supporters'
A last remark about the his new fans: 'I have always seen the Milan
supporters into action: they are really warm. I can't wait to play my
first game at the San Siro in order to meet them. I am also happy for
moving to another big stadium. After the 'Morumbi' in Sao Paolo and the
'Olimpico' in Rome, I will move to the San Siro. My targets for the next
season? I have always fought to win on the pitch. Milan are expected to
play a very demanding season, it won't be easy to repeat this year's
achievements, but I hope to win as much as possible.'

"我已經習慣見到熱情的米蘭球迷，他們真的相當溫暖。我等不及在聖西羅第一次
