MILAN - A.C. Milan have announced that they have extended the contract of
Marcos Cafu of one year, until June 30, 2006.

 MILAN - In the day of his contract extension with Milan, Marcos Cafu was
contacted live on the Milan Channel. He said:

'I'm really happy. I had been in talks with the club for some weeks, and then
 today we finally agreed on the renewal.Well, actually, one word was just
 enough! I'm glad to have the possibility to remain with the Rossoneri until
 2006, I hope I can clinch more and more trophies with them.'

Cafu also commented on the pre-season training at Milanello and added:

'We have worked hard with the trainers; The first part of the preparation
 is going on well. I'm happy to be almost fit. On August 21, we have the
 first competitive game, we want to reach the full form for it.'

The Brazilian impressed in the TIM Trophy on Tuesday, supplying Massimo
Ambrosini with one of his pinpoint passes to score Milan's second against
Juventus. He said:

'It was Ambro who was well- placed. He is very good in the air, he had the
 chance to head in and scored. I just do my duty...'

About yesterday's opponents Juventus and Inter, Cafu added:

'It is too early to judge them. Nobody has finished their preparation, but we
 already know that they are dangerous and will give their best in the league.'

In closing, a thought about the supporters:

'As soon as I arrived here, I immediately realized that the Milan fans are
 very attached to the team and always show their affection. Milan are
 everything to them and we will always try to satisfy them. I'm satisfied
 with what we did yesterday evening and I'm confident we will do even better
 in the league.'

CAFU接受官網訪問時說道，他與俱樂部已經洽談了幾個禮拜，最後終於在昨天完成續約。
對此他只有一句話想對大家說：
「我很高興能與米蘭一起合作到2006年，我希望盡全力爭取更多的榮譽！」

談到前天的電信杯，他在比賽中一次助攻幫助MAX進球。
「AMBRO的跑位置相當的好，他在空中的攻勢總是非常凌厲，他總是能夠找到最好的位置
  並且得分，我只是盡我的責任傳球罷了！」

他並談到球迷們的支持，他表示當他回到米蘭來時立刻就可以感受到球迷是如此的
想念他們，對於球迷來說，米蘭就是他們的一切，而他和所有的球員也將盡全力來滿
足球迷們的希望。

米蘭官方宣佈又完成一筆續約，34歲的老將卡福與AC米蘭續約至2006年6月30日，而卡福
此前的合同是與AC米蘭簽到2005年，這也將意味著，在2006年合同到期之後，卡福將年滿
36歲，對於曾經表達過希望在2006年世界盃之後結束足球生涯的巴西老將來說，這份合同
也將成為他的一份「終身合同」。

　　很難講2年後36歲的卡福是否還能夠對AC米蘭的排兵佈陣起到什麼作用，AC米蘭的這
種做法，更多是為了鼓勵他一年以來所做出的貢獻，而為圓卡福作為巴西隊長參加2006世
界盃創造紀錄的夢想出一把力。由於AC米蘭的「巴西攻略」，卡福很有可能在退役後與他
昔日的國家隊隊友萊昂納多一樣在俱樂部任職。

　　儘管已經34歲了，但是卡福依然保持著極好的狀態，在AC米蘭三場180分鐘(蒂姆杯是
兩個半場)的熱身賽中，巴西人打進1球，助攻兩次。

　　在簽約儀式上，卡福顯得紅光滿面，在球場上一向面帶微笑的他笑得更加燦爛了，「
我真的非常高興，」卡福說，「我與俱樂部談了幾周，今天，我們終於達成了續約的協議
，實際上，一句感謝已經包含了千言萬語！我很高興能夠一直留在AC米蘭直到2006年，我
希望我能夠與紅黑軍團一起得到更多的榮譽。」

　　對於即將到來的一個賽季，卡福說：「我們的訓練非常努力，第一階段的準備很順利
，對於近來的一切，我感到滿意，8月21日，我們將迎來第一次大考(意大利超級杯)，我
們希望能夠在這之前恢復百分之百的狀態。」

　　談及剛剛結束的蒂姆杯，卡福說道：「我的助攻？主要是安布羅西尼的站位太好了！
他的爭頂能力非常出色，他到為了，有頭球破門的機會，而我，只是做了我應該做的。尤
文圖斯和國際米蘭？我覺得現在判斷他們的實力還太早了，三強當中還沒有人完成了賽季
前的準備，我們都知道，他們是危險的對手，他們都會在即將到來的賽季中拚盡全力。」

　　在發言的最後，卡福把祝福送給了AC米蘭的球迷，他說：「當我一來到這裡時，我就
