MILAN - Andriy Shevchenko was welcomed by the gathered media on his arrival
at Malpensa airport after the trip to France. Asked about the rumours of an
important offer from Chelsea, the Ukrainian star jokingly answered: 'I thank
the English journalists because now Milan will probably call me to extend my
contract!" Then, in serious mood, he added: "There have been such specultaion
for three years, but I'm relaxed because I feel at home here. I don't need to
deny anything, I just thank my fans for all the mail they have sent me this
morning.' Then a brief comment on the goalless draw in Lyon: 'We created
plenty of chances, playing a very good game, we are confident about the
future.'

舍甫琴科笑談轉會切爾西傳聞 《衛報》報導加速其續約

新浪體育訊 3月31日米蘭消息，歐冠射手榜第一的舍甫琴科錯過三次得分良機，米
蘭客場0-0戰平里昂。週四回到米蘭後舍瓦心情低落，這時候卻有人告訴了他英國
《衛報》當天配合歐冠戰報發佈的消息：舍甫琴科已經同意加盟切爾西。烏克蘭人聽到這
一消息笑道，"真……要感謝英國報紙，加利亞尼一會就叫我去他辦公室續約"。
週四出版的《衛報》報導說，阿布三年來三次追逐舍甫琴科未果，但是阿布矢志不
渝，希望第四次求愛能獲得成功。據稱舍甫琴科已經與切爾西基本達成口頭協議，舍瓦與
切爾西將簽訂4年合同，4年工資總計2300萬英鎊，週薪將達到11萬英鎊。儘管AC米蘭給舍
瓦貼上了3500萬英鎊(5000萬歐元)的價簽，但是錢對於阿布來說不是問題。切爾西希望新
賽季徹底改變鋒線疲軟的現狀，而最實際的方案是克雷斯波加一部分轉會費交換米蘭的舍
甫琴科。
舍甫琴科對這一報導顯然不屑一顧，他用安切洛蒂的例子反駁了媒體的炒做，"西班
牙報紙不是天天說安切洛蒂會去執教皇馬嗎？但是卡洛跟俱樂部續約到了2008年"。
舍甫琴科在接受《米蘭體育報》採訪的時候說，"我對於切爾西希望我加盟的事情一
所無知，我這個人從來對這些事情都非常透明，我不會讓人們去嚼舌頭，我早跟你們說過
了，我會在米蘭結束職業生涯"。
舍瓦是AC米蘭俱樂部老闆貝盧斯科尼的愛將，總理先生也是舍瓦兒子的教父，儘管切
爾西求賢若渴，但是舍甫琴科離開米蘭可能性不大。
本賽季舍甫琴科在意甲和歐冠兩條戰線都是AC米蘭頭號射手，意甲進球19個，歐冠8
個，安切洛蒂續約之後更不能放走這位發揮穩定的高效射手。

Sheva rejects Chelsea rumour
Milan’s Andriy Shevchenko has poked fun at the latest reports
from England which insist that he will join Chelsea in the summer.
The Ukrainian has been continually associated with a switch to
the Premiership outfit, with some whispers on Thursday claiming
that a deal had already been done.
Yet Shevchenko has laughed off the latest speculation as he again
committed his future to the Rossoneri.
“I would like to thank the English Press as perhaps Milan will now
call me to their offices and extend my contract,” he stated this
afternoon.
Sheva was referring to the fact that Spanish speculation that
Carlo Ancelotti would be joining Real Madrid next season simply
led to the tactician signing a new deal until 2008.
Chelsea were allegedly prepared to pay around ￡35m to the San Siro
outfit for the former Dynamo Kiev sensation.
It was further reported that the former Golden Ball winner would
sign a four-year contract worth ￡23m in total.
“I know nothing at all about any interest from Chelsea for me,”
continued the international on his return from Lyon.
“I’m really calm about this. I don’t need to deny anything as
it is all clear to me. I’ll just let other people keep talking about
this story.”

Shevchenko shares a special bond with the Rossoneri and, in particular,
club owner Silvio Berlusconi – who is also his son’s Godfather.
