[球員] Gilardino To Milan: I Am Sorry

Alberto Gilardino has reflected upon his three years with Milan following his
recent move to Fiorentina and he has apologised to Rossoneri fans for his
poor form with the club.

The Biella-born striker signed for the Rossoneri in 2005 following a great
season with Parma where he saved the Ducali from relegation during that
campaign.

However, he was not able to repeat that form at the Rossoneri and after three
years of blowing hot and cold, Fiorentina gave him the chance.

The player admits he learned plenty at Milan but he is regretful that he didn
’t do enough at San Siro.

“The three years at Milan were important,” Gilardino told the club’s
official website.

“Playing for such a great side taught me plenty and I am very grateful to
all those who supported me during my time there.

“I am however sorry for one thing, and that is I didn’t get the chance to
prove myself there and show my real qualities for one reason or another.”

The player signed for Milan from Parma for €24m in 2005 and he was sold to
Fiorentina for almost half that amount following his less than perfect time
with the San Siro based club.

A great player, a nice person. Alberto Gilardino sent Milan's official
website a letter: to thank the club, his team mates, and to salute all the
Milan fans.

MILAN - The three years spent at Milan were very important and very formative,
the passage to a big, organised club allowed me to explore a new world, it was
different and it allowed me to learn things and improve.

I am grateful to all those who lived with me in these years at Milan, nice
moments and also difficult ones, but which allowed me to mature and become more
conscious of my possibilities.

I want to thank those who wanted me and to all the people I shared joys with in
this club.

With Milan I became a European champion, European SuperChampion, and World
Champion, I feel those victories as partly mine, just like all the other team
mates who fought hard, some more than others, for these objectives.

Leaving this club I am unhappy about just one thing: not having been able to
show my value fully due to various reasons.

我是覺得他在感謝米蘭讓他成長,看到歐洲冠軍,歐洲超級冠軍,世界冠軍那一段其實有點

感傷,看完後我倒覺得他有些自責 :P

算是很有心的不順遂離隊球員,如果他真的對俱樂部不滿大可在離隊後啥都不說,

有些跟球隊鬧不合的甚至還會放話抨擊,至少 Gila 在這方面是比那種離開後講難聽話的

好上太多了,最後我也想祝福他在佛羅倫薩能重返巔峰,重新證明自己的價值 :D
