Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi only wants to buy one striker this summer
and he has his eyes on Alberto Paloschi.
The Gialloblu have bounced back to the top flight at the first attempt,
grabbing second place in Serie B and the final automatic promotion spot.
Paloschi, who is part-owned by Milan, played a big part in Parma's success,
scoring 11 goals in 39 appearances for the club.
Ghirardi wants to either extend the current arrangement with Milan or buy
Paloschi outright.
"As for strikers, the only one that interests me is Paloschi," Ghirardi said.
"Today I will speak with my friend Adriano Galliani and try to reach an
agreement to keep him."
"For the moment there is neither Julio Cruz nor Robert Acquafresca. My
priority is to keep Paloschi."
